Blizzard recently ‘released’ their intro cinematic for the next StarCraft game. I absolutely adore this video. StarCraft has long been my favourite Blizzard franchise and this cinematic really does the universe some justice. I have to admit I probably got a little too excited watching the Siege tank back down the street only to get crushed under the weight of an Ultralisk, or that moment where the Battlecruiser falls from the sky into the middle of the city.

I’d have to say that it takes the crown for my favourite StarCraft cinematic away from the Brood Wars opening, but then, there’s a distinct lack of Russians and cigars.
